Scheduled Caste-Sub Plan
Scheduled caste sub plan is a centrally funded project for the welfare of scheduled caste farming community under which the funds are released for all states /territories on the regular basis. The main objectives of this project are to uplift the livelihood and living standard of scheduled caste community through investment for their economic development in order to make the project more viable. The project is based on the programs/activities of local community needs, hence there is flexibility in the utilization of funds.
Targets and achivements
1.Scheduled caste sub plan funded by ICAR/Govt.of India is a regular and main scheme under which the scheduled caste community farmers in various districts of states/country having more than 20 percant population of scheduled caste and surviving below poverty line are benefitted and supported by number of programs /activities to strengthen the economic level of their families. Under this project the targets of all the activities/programs are annually fixed quarter wise at the start of financial year at Institute level and further implemented as per scheduled task in the Institute and its Regional stations.During the year 2025-26,the achievements under different targets at ICAR-IIPR,Kanpur and its regional Centre/Stations are summarized below in the table.
