  • Improving crop and water productivity through integration of regenerative agriculture and strategic irrigation management practices in arid ecosystem [as PI]
  • Long-term effect of pulses in diversifying pulses-based cropping system on crop productivity and soil health in western dry region of India [as PI]

Activities & Achievements

  • Identified suitable pulses-inclusive cropping systems with nutrient dynamics under residue management practices and crop establishment methods for arid region.
  • Up–scaling the productivity of moth bean and cluster bean through strategic irrigation scheduling in arid conditions.
  • Identified the nitrogen scheduling for improving productivity of moth bean and cluster bean in western dry regions.
  • Enhancing the crop productivity and resources use efficiency of cropping systems through the adoption of CA-based practices in arid conditions.
  • Evaluated efficient pulses-based cropping system under sandy soil of Western dry regions of India.
  • Developed agro-techniques for pulses cultivation under vertisol of central India.
  • Developed application modules of zinc and molybdenum in soybean-chickpea cropping system in vertisols.
