  • Involved in the screening and characterization of blackgram genotypes for abiotic stress with prime focus on salinity.
  • Efforts are being made to map QTLs responsible for flowering time in lentil

Current area of research

Identification of genes and markers responsible for salinity tolerance in blackgram and earliness in lentil using BSA/QTL association mapping as well as transcritomics approach .
